Thank you Chairman Bill Ferullo!

On September 29, 2009, after nearly 30 years at the helm of the Ward 3 Democratic Committee, Bill Ferullo gaveled out his final meeting as Chairman.

Bill has seen his ups and downs as Chairman. He assumed the Chairmanship at the beginning of the Reagan Revolution and leaves at the beginning of the Obama era. He attended hundreds of meetings, caucuses and conventions and had his share of democratic campaigns. During his tenure Ward 3 played an important role in electing democratic candidates who went on to attain the highest political positions in both the State Senate and State House of Representatives!

in 1992, Bill joined then Boston Mayor Ray Flynn at a rally in the Prado (Paul Revere Mall) to endorse the candidacy of a little known presidential candidate: Bill Clinton, Governor of Arkansas. You can say the Ward 3 was where it all began for President Bill Clinton; and our Bill Ferullo was there to introduce him!

Bill's best work and proudest moments were serving with his friends and fellow Democrats of Boston's Ward 3 - for that we thank him!
